| In class my version of "Math Mingle" working in pairs and groups in a 4 minutes to solve math problems. When time runs out we do 1 of 2 things.... We stand and rotate partners like in speed dating and work on more math or 1 person from each group scribes on the board to show the work and answer. |

| Jumping rope after lunch during down time before enrichment. We used 3 ropes for 18 children but I did not give them any direction. My 4th graders took it upon themselves to form groups to take turns sharing that rope... some even had contest with other groups. |
